Have you thought of senator Abribe lately Saying that Enyinnaya Abaribe is a yahoo-yahoo politician was too harsh and too direct. I have been waiting for those who are calling for my head on a platter for calling out their man to embarrass me with evidences showing his legislative scorecard as a Senator in the last 14 years, but all I read are invectives from people I choose to sympathize with rather than get angry with. I sympathize with their helpless ignorance and gullibility.

Enyinnaya Abaribe, if he truly has the slightest conviction about what these IPOB irritants have been making too much noise about, would have attempted to sponsor a bill or even move a motion on the floor of the Senate. He hasn't done either, but only plays to the gallery for political gains.

Those who want me to believe that Enyinnaya Abaribe loves Ndigbo so much and is fighting for Igbo liberation should show me any evidence of a bill or motion moved by him that particularly targets Southeast or Igbo economic, educational or social development, and I will apologize profusely to him and join in applauding him. I am aware that even the bill that aimed to establish the Southeast Development Commission wasn't his bill.

Until, I am proven wrong, Enyinnaya Abaribe is a rabble-rousing manipulator, who does not have the slightest regard for the Igbo man. He sees Ndigbo as some blockheads to be dragged around on their knees with sweet words.

MooWole Soyinka blast president Muhammad Buhari on Monday, he has emphasized how the president engage himself talking rather than tackling the situation facing the country.

 

The  Noble laureate professor  Soyinka who spoke during an interview session on News Day, an Arise TV programme,  has lamented how the current president refuse to take actions in solving the ravaging problems in the country.

“First of all he should start talking to people like a leader — and a leader who is awake to the realities of the situation. Then, let us see actions being taken,I’m tired of hearing things like ‘you will see differences in a few weeks’ time’. We are tired of that. He’s got to put his cards on the table and take people into confidence. He’s got to stop exuding a false confidence, because that kind of confidence is totally false. It is not based on realities, and we’ve got to see an acceleration of actions to retrieve this nation from the very edge. It is no longer a problem of the people, it is a problem of leadership, because the people have shown themselves ready to act, to save their own community.

He further stated that the  National Assembly are not doing enough to make the present Government to act, because they have power invested in them to move the president to act which they are not using 

”Members of NASS are not doing enough. If you study the constitution very carefully, you will realize that they have certain powers which they haven’t touched, There are certain areas they can compel this government to act the way it should, and that applies especially to governors — the governors themselves are too timid. I appeal to people to stop putting words in my mouth. If you think you can pressure me to speak by stealing my identity and putting words in my mouth on social media, you are wasting your time. Not only that, you are acting in a distorting way, At this sensitive time, I must warn Nigerians to stop playing around with such serious issues, otherwise they are going to lose the kind of support they have from people like me,” he added.

Gov.Hope says Imo State is Safe both during the Day and at Night

Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma have assured imo citizens that the state is safe now and the insecurity  have been taken care of in the state.

Also the Governor has set up a committee to find the reason behind the insecurity in the state.

He said, “The reports from the security agencies have confirmed that Imo State is now safe for both night and day activities.

“I will also use this opportunity to inform you that in the cause of making sure that our people are not vulnerable, that the damage on the lives and properties of our people is not going to be grievous, we have established a committee to go into a thorough investigation and come up with far-reaching recommendations.

“I am very convinced that the government will implement their recommendation to bring lasting peace to the state”.

He said, “We got report of the incident in Ini LGA this morning. We arrested one of the criminals while others escaped with bullets wounds. We recovered three motorcycles and charms. But unfortunately, one of our men who participated in the operation was hit. He was taken to the hospital at Ikot Ekpene, but unfortunately, he gave up the ghost.

“As we speak, the Commissioner of Police Andrew Amiengheme, has ordered men of the Operation Restore Peace to arrest those who escaped with bullets wounds

Sociology bag the best department in imo state university, 

In the whole of Social science, sociology is  the only department that's well organized, they share common unity among theirselves.

Despite spending 5 years in a 4 years course the still find time to celebrate each other 

The department is well represented both at Faculty level and departmental level.

People  came as single individuals from separate homes with intention to study different course but not sociology 

Due to reasons best known for Imo state university they offered them sociology.

.

They never regretted been in the department that has no seniors colleagues rather they came together with the guardians of their lecturers and HODs were able to build strong departments that outstand every other department in the whole of Imo State university.

This was also confirmed by the Eze of Imo State university at Sociology Cultural cultural day.

Today they came out much happier than they expected, a graduate in character and in learning, strong leaders, entrepreneurs,  administrators with so much respect and regard for each other .

They have built a strong sociology department in Imo State university and left a legacy to their junior colleagues and the whole of Imo State university to emulate 

 The lecturers are loving despite their discipline measures.
