43 oil well discovered in Imo State

Imo State government has reviewed the discovery of Oil well in Ohaji egbema local government and Oguta local government area of Imo state, Jonathan opiah confirmed this by stating that 21 were discovered in Oguta local government while 22 were discovered in ohaji egbema 

With the presence of the oil Imo State oil have increased tremendously and has ranked imo the 4th largest oil producing state in  Nigeria 

He said, “The oil wells were hitherto ceded to Rivers State. The ugly situation affected the revenue base of the state as we were recorded as one of the lowest oil producing states in the country. But with the recovery of the 43 oil wells, the story has changed, as we have become the 4th largest oil producing state.”           ,,
